Project Description

Swift Resources managed a full ocean import for an industrial equipment supplier shipping a 40-foot container from Shanghai to Bangkok. The project covered freight booking, port handling at Laem Chabang, Thai customs clearance, bonded warehousing, and scheduled last-mile delivery to the client's facility in Samut Prakan. Cargo arrived on time, cleared customs within two business days, and was delivered to the warehouse floor without damage or documentation delays.

The Challenge of Project

The client needed a single logistics partner to coordinate an urgent shipment with strict delivery windows and multiple regulatory requirements. Previous shipments had faced port congestion, incomplete customs paperwork, and poor visibility between the overseas supplier, freight forwarder, and local transport team. Swift Resources was engaged to simplify the process and deliver the container from vessel discharge through final delivery at the Bangkok warehouse.

The container cleared Thai customs within two business days and was stored securely at our Bangkok warehouse before final delivery. The client received full visibility from port arrival through unloading at their Samut Prakan facility, meeting the production schedule without demurrage charges or rework on documentation.
